The following e-mail was received from RCC announcing the cancellation of the Planning Committee meeting on 21st December assessing the Solar Farm Application, citing IT issues at RCC as the reason. It will now be held on 11 January 2022.

Good evening all,

I am writing to inform you that the decision has been taken to cancel the meeting of the Planning and Licensing Committee on 21 December.

This is due the limited access to view the applications on the Council’s online Planning Portal since earlier in the week. As it has not been possible for members of Planning Committee, members of the public and any other interested parties to view the planning application documents in the week prior to the Planning Committee meeting it is considered that it would not be appropriate to proceed with the meeting.

You will also receive a formal notification of this from the Planning Department next week and any detailed queries should be addressed to the Planning Department. I can confirm all registrations to speak and to attend will be carried over to the 11 January meeting so you do not need to re-apply.

Kind regards,
Tom
